See some of our favourite artworks from Gestalten's striking new book - The Age of Collage Vol.2.

The Age of Collage Vol.2 is a newly released book from Gestalten showcasing the best of collage from over 70 artists. Here is a dazzling selection of our favourite works from the book.

Berlin-based artist Matthieu Bourel is behind the striking artwork, Duplicity, used on book’s cover (shown here).

From the playful, funny and surreal merges of ridiculous things, to evocative and even uncomfortable clashes of people, moods and contexts, this book shows off the amazing flexibility and beauty of collage. Themes range from the explorations of beauty and the sexual to our relationship with our environment – and the way it's presented in the media. Others defy explanation.
