Construct builds an ethereal identity for new Shoreditch store Celestine Eleven

Brand consultancy Construct has created an identity for a new fashion and homewares shop in Shoreditch.

Set up by stylist Tena Stork, Celestine Eleven sells a carefully chosen selection of simple or striking items.

Celestine Eleven’s identity – created by the Construct brand consultancy set up by Georgia Fendley, former brand director of Mulberry – is stripped back almost to the point of immateriality to give the impression of simple luxury.

The Celestine Eleven logo is designed to be reduced down to a simple XI logomark or monogram when used as a graphic device. This is used across Celestine Eleven’s business cards, press and buyer materials, and its heavy-duty paper bags.

The business cards have been produced by Benwells, with embossed, debossed and foiled lettering.

"An incredibly inspiring project, Celestine 11 is a concept store in East London that is really unique," says Construct design director, Segolene Hutter. "The branding project was very much a creative collaboration, (initial branding, website, launch and interiors), as Tena was always happy to push the boundaries. The result is a strong/timeless marque and an innovative 3D blind embossing/de-bossing technique on the collateral.'
