Digital design studio Ustwo has worked with hotel booking service LateRooms.com to design and develop a new mobile booking app for the company.
The app, which is available for both iOS and Android, has been completely redesigned to allow LateRooms.com users to quickly, easily and securely search and book a hotel room anywhere in the world.
LateRooms.com challenged Ustwo with the task of developing a functional yet playful app experience. In order to determine they way users search for hotel rooms, Ustwo worked with LateRooms.com to run a number of activities and workshops that explored user interaction and user journeys on the site.
Ustwo has worked with many big clients in the past, including Google, Sony, Nokia, ebay and BT. Last year, the studio helped create the UX of Tesco's Hudl tablet.

"What made this project such a rewarding one was our effective collaboration across all disciplines, resulting in an ideas-driven approach where we were able to build and test ideas rapidly then iterate," explains Ustwo Design Director David Mingay.

"We were also able to ensure the highest quality deliverables across the whole team, through our well-oiled Agile project methodology," David adds, referring to the Agile principles that allowed Ustwo and LateRooms.com to react to unexpected requirement changes with a tight timeframe.
